Language Access Committee
The Diversity Coalition Language Access Committee was created in March 2004 with the intent of addressing issues of linguistic access to legal services in Massachusetts. The committtee is working on creating a resource of information for legal services staff working with limited English proficient (LEP) clients as well as researching guiding policies and laws in regards to linguistic access for clients. The Language Access Committee is comprised of five members and the Diversity Coalition staff.
The committee's resources of information including two lists of interpreters in Massachusetts can be found on the Language Access section of www.masslegalservices.org .
